Training is for new engineers. It’s a hands-on program which will focus on draftsmanship, layout, design decision, analysis, and value engineering. The design is mostly done by the trainer, but the trainee can take part in some decisions.
Mentoring focuses on guiding the engineer in design decisions for a subject the engineer is not proficient. This program is hands-on, but the engineer is working on their own for the most part with review sessions with the mentor.
